At the Shambalà refuge, hospitality is much more than a service: it is a way to make you feel immediately at home. Our rooms have been designed to offer everything you would expect from a stay in a mountain refuge, with a touch of elegance and comfort that make the experience unique.
Entering our rooms, you will immediately be enveloped by a feeling of warmth and familiarity. Wood , the predominant element in the furnishings, gives a welcoming and refined atmosphere, in perfect balance with the surrounding natural environment. Every detail has been studied to create a space that combines rusticity and elegance , ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay.
Total Rest and Relaxation
Rest is essential after a day spent outdoors, and our rooms are designed for this very reason. The beds , with their softness and comfort, will allow you to sleep deeply and not feel the lack of home. Each guest will be able to experience a regenerating rest, surrounded by the tranquility of Alpe Giumello , immersed in greenery and uncontaminated nature.
For maximum comfort, all rooms are equipped with a private bathroom with shower , so as to ensure a pleasant stay in every aspect. Every detail has been taken care of to offer you comfort and relaxation , from the moment you arrive until you wake up.

The Shambalà refuge has different types of rooms to satisfy every need. Whether you are a couple, with family or friends, we have the right solution for you. Our six rooms offer:
2 double bedrooms:
- Room “Pizzo Trona”
- Room “Pizzo Alto”
2 triple rooms:
- Room “Pizzo Tre signori”
- Room “Monte Muggio”
2 bedrooms with 4 beds each with double bed and bunk bed:
- Room “Pizzo Mellasc”
- Room “Monte Legnone”
All rooms have a private bathroom with shower , ensuring comfort and privacy throughout your stay. In addition, one of our rooms is equipped for people with disabilities , ensuring that all our guests can enjoy the best possible welcome.
We remind you that, out of respect for other guests, it is forbidden to bring animals into the rooms .
Rates and Offers
The Shambalà refuge offers various pricing options to meet the needs of all our guests:
- Full board : €69.00 (minimum 3 nights);
- Half board : €59.00;
- Overnight stay + breakfast : €49.00.
For children up to 3 years with a cot, the price is €10.00. For children up to 10 years, the rates are as follows:
- Full board : €53.00 (minimum 3 nights);
- Half board : €43.00;
- Overnight stay + breakfast : €33.00.
There is a supplement of €5.00 for a single room .
